Frommer's: "The best place to stay in Natal is also one of the nicest spots to rest your head in all Brazil. The Manary is done up like a Spanish hacienda, with old dark beams, red-tile roofs, and large cool flagstones on the floor. The location is also premium, with a large deck and two pools (one regular, one for children) facing out over the sea. In the rooms, the furnishings are tasteful and unique, the beds king-size, the mattresses, linen, and furniture all top-notch. All rooms come with a balcony and ocean view. For the 15 standard rooms, the view is a bit oblique, but still lovely. The nine deluxe rooms have a straight-on view. The luxury suite not only has a broad veranda facing out over the water, but it also has a Jacuzzi whirlpool. Breakfast here is memorable -- a well-stocked array of fresh regional fruits and lots of regional delicacies, plus fresh-made tapioca pancakes and eggs however you like 'em. The Manary is a member of the Roteiros de Charme, a network of top-end pousadas and small hotels."
