Sunday Mail (Brisbane), January 2008:Activities are more focused around getting back to nature, from rain-forest walks to three-day expeditions through the region's scenery. Swimming in pools underneath waterfalls and hiking up mountain trails to secret places of beauty are among the tour options, while platypus can also be seen in the river. The tropical location means warmer winters for those who had been shivering down south, while the altitude provides cooler summers for people from the Queensland coast. The resort also has a small licensed bar, yet this is no party venue: the epitome of nightlife is the possum clattering on the cabin roof at lam.
