Overview

Imagine a stay at a New York City hotel right in the heart of the city’s renowned theater district. Inspired by a central Manhattan location and typical of a Kimpton Hotel, The Muse Hotel offers comfort with creativity, service with style, and function with form.

The very heart of New York City is just outside your door. The Muse Hotel is within easy walking distance to the best of midtown New York, including Times Square, Broadway, the Empire State Building, Radio City Music Hall, Rockefeller Center and Fifth Avenue shopping.

This New York City Times Square hotel, a stylish four diamond boutique hotel, features 200 uniquely styled guestrooms and suites that are sinfully spacious by New York City standards. Making its home in the beautifully renovated Leavitt Building, The Muse Hotel draws guests in past the arched, limestone-and-brick façade, and invites them to daydream on the whimsical, overstuffed sofas and midnight blue velvet rolled-arm lounge chairs in the lobby.

With 1350 square feet of meeting space, The Muse Hotel is also the perfect location for meetings and conferences.

Dreamy guestrooms at this Kimpton Hotel are uniquely styled, featuring commissioned works from artists like Sid Avery, William Claxton, Jerry Schatzberg and others, coloring the interiors with references to the theater and performing arts.

DISTRICT -
Inspired New York Dining at a Vibrant Theater District Restaurant

“As the name suggests, DISTRICT knows exactly where it is. And if anyone was in doubt, the design at this Theater District newcomer makes [things] perfectly clear… The entire menu radiates Broadway energy and high spirit.”
The New York Times

Surrounded by the bright lights and big city scene of New York’s Theater District, DISTRICT matches the high energy of its neighborhood in this vibrant 85-seat dining spot adjacent to The Muse Hotel, right on West 46 Street. With a casual sophistication, this New York City restaurant perfectly evokes its theater setting and is just right for any reason, offering breakfast, lunch, dinner and a great late bit to eat at its Mini Bar.

Executive Chef Patricia Williams recently debuted her seasonal American cuisine at DISTRICT. Formerly of Morell Wine Bar & Café, Williams’ ingredient-driven menu features signature items, including Old Fashioned Lazy Duck, slow roasted duck with spaetzle and carrot puree, Grilled Atlantic Salmon with fingerling potatoes, braised leeks and wholegrain mustard vinaigrette, and Shrimp Pancetta Club Sandwich, butterflied shrimp with pancetta, lettuce, tomato and arugula pesto.

Guests will love the hand-crafted cocktails such as the Ginger Fizz, ginger-infused vodka mixed with ginger ale, fresh lemon and lime juice, and the Stormy Weather, vanilla bean-infused rum mixed with ginger beer. And celebrating the nearby NYC Theater District, the restaurant also offers a late-night menu, including signature sliders, at Mini Bar, “Broadway’s best-kept secret,” located right next to DISTRICT.
